Orange County-based Brodard Restaurant will be coming to Los Angeles County when a new location opens in Long Beach sometime in 2026.<\/p>\n

The latest spot for the long-standing Vietnamese restaurant is slated open at the busy 2ND & PCH mall complex at at 6480 E. Pacific Coast Highway possibly by May.<\/p>\n

This will mark the fifth location for the restaurant<\/a> that first opened in the 1990s in Orange County\u2019s Little Saigon neighborhood. It was founded by Diane Dang, whose family owned a French bakery\u00a0 in the coastal town of Nha Trang, Vietnam. Other Brodard restaurants are located in Garden Grove, Fountain Valley, Newport Beach and one inside John Wayne Airport.<\/p>\n

After Dang and her husband moved to America with their three children in 1986, they first settled in Long Beach and used her mother\u2019s recipes as the launching point for their Orange County restaurant.<\/p>\n

“After 30 years to bring our food to Long Beach has always been my dream,” said Lisa Vo, one of Dang’s daughters who co-owns the restaurants.<\/p>\n

Brodard is known for its famous nem nuong cuon<\/a>, a type of spring roll made with grilled pork sausage and crisp wonton strips wrapped in rice paper.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor decades, we have shared the strength of our family and the unforgettable tastes of Vietnam with Orange County,\u201d Dang said in a statement. \u201cWe are excited to share the quality and tradition of Brodard with the Long Beach community, continuing our tradition of creating a dining experience that feels both luxurious and deeply personal,\u201d the statement continued.<\/p>\n
